Introduction
What is Kaleidoscope?
Kaleidoscope is an annual festival held in the suburb of Point Cook, at Stockland Point Cook Town Centre's Pop Up Park. Over the span of 10 weeks, events are held on weekends celebrating different cultures and cultural holidays.
Working alongside the CoLocal team, we collaborated with Stockland, Wyndham Council and community groups, to organise these events which promote intercultural bonds.
The Challenge
The challenge was to make the festival unique and refreshing each year, while staying true to its existing aesthetic, and to increase the reach and attendance of each Kaleidoscope event, compared to 2023.
Design Impact
The solution was to create a series of customised assets that adhered to the Pop Up Park brand identity, to support the festival and its events. This includes online and offline promotional materials that targeted Point Cook and the surrounding suburbs' demographic of youth and young families. I was also responsible for designing posters, signages and other materials used for some event activities.
